Gandi Kota - Hidden Gem

Gadikota a small village situated in cuddappa district of Andhra Pradesh. Our journey towards this started on 2017 july 10th from Kerala. Which is planned and happened with in only a two day time period! Really an Unexpected trip. So for that reason we didn’t have much time organize the trip properly. Only thing we knew was it’s in Andhra Pradesh! Balance all depended upon google. But we use to interact with locals rather to stay inside google. I am very good in handling telugu language and it didn’t feel an problem at all. We decided to take train to Bangalore and from there will check with Andhra bus section in Bangalore  depot. But before that we get all most ninety percent details from train itself. We met with a boy who already done this trip. He advised us to go to Andhra bus stop in Bangalore depot. And ask them form tadipathri bus. And from tadipathri we can easily get to gandi kota. This information make feel us in the comfort zone. After that didn’t do more google or...

Spiti Valley

DAY – 1 The Continue drizzles till noon made the Himalayan roads unhealthy to travel. roads become muddy and while riding chances of skidding is there, And we are travelling on motor bikes, it makes the risk level and adrenaline rush to its peak. We planned our travel loop last night was to complete Key monastery – Langza and Hikkim in one day. But because of the rain the road to Langza and Hikkim gets muddy and the locals of the Kaza advised us to don’t use the road today, because the road to langza and Hikkim are mostly steep roads, so better to finish key gompa visit today and keep langza and hikkim for day 3. Around 12:00 the drizzle gets weak and we (Sarath/Puja/Sudheer & me) starts our trip in Enfield and Two Activa. Around a two kilometres passed we get lost in to two ways Sudheer went to key monastery correctly, me along with Sarath and puja lost way and starts climbing up hill road to langza ! As the villagers said the road was much danger to ride and the...

Image
Hatta Water Dam “HATTA” – A small Arabian village with green vegetation’s, farms few dams and less rush of homo sapiens this all attracted me to this place and I was waiting for the destination to call me for An HIKE. Another holiday was arrived for that and this time I didn’t make much planning for the trip. All I want to know was is there any public transport available or not? And by god’s grace this time also I found a bus (E-16) going from Al Sabkha bus station to Hatta every day from morning 06:30 am in a regular interval of every three hours. I started my journey in morning 04:30 am from camp because then only I will able to reach Al Sabhka bus station on time. I get my friends vehicle for that and he drops me at a metro station and from there I make to Al sabhka. Dates Farm Bus arrived on the correct time and the rush was horrible. As a last passenger I get in to the bus and there is not even place to stand inside the bus. For the first one hour I felt too muc...

AL Qudra Desert Hiking

Image
There is some such places in Dubai where you find a perfect hideout from all noises and luxuries. Al Qudra lakes are one of such places where you can stay alone and hide out from all disturbances mentally and physically. It is a man made group of lakes located in the mid desert. For those who likes hiking camping and other outside activities Al Qudra is a good option to do. Also expense wise it’s much cheaper, only if you are ready to walk and have time to use public transport. The trip was in my mind since last few months but didn’t able to make because of the lack of most important aspect for a journey “TIME”. But as always it’s better late than never I get a day leave on a public Holiday. After knowing this I start planning to make it happen. And there comes the next halt on the planning, its about the transportation? Al Qudra lakes are located in mid of Al Qudra deserts. If you need to get there you must have an own car either you need to rent it. Taxi rent per km is aroun...
